Child Safety Standards
Five City has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Effective and last updated: · Operator: Ammar Alhayki, Kingdom of Bahrain.
What we prohibit
A child is anyone under 18. These standards apply to everyone using Five City, including people aged 16–17, across posts, replies, groups, profiles, private messages, images and links. Five City’s minimum account age is 16.
You must not create, upload, possess through our service, share, distribute, solicit, offer, sell, promote or link to CSAE or CSAM. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of a child, and material depicting, facilitating or encouraging it.
- Grooming or contacting a child for sexual purposes, including requests for sexual images or sexual contact.
- Sexualizing children, sexual extortion (sextortion), threats or blackmail involving a child’s intimate images.
- Child sex trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, or arranging or encouraging this conduct on another service.
Report a child-safety concern
In the app: use Report on the relevant post, reply, message, group or profile and choose the reason that fits best, such as “Sexual, violent or offensive”. Report a private message by long-pressing it and choosing Report. You can also report the sender from their profile.
By email, with or without an account: contact devoxdy@gmail.com with the subject Five City child safety report. Parents, guardians and anyone concerned about a child can use this address.
Describe the concern in words. Include the username, content or message identifier if available, where it happened and the approximate date and time. You do not need to investigate or prove abuse before reporting.
Do not download, screenshot, attach, re-upload or forward suspected CSAM. Send a reference to the item and a text description instead. You can block the user from their profile or message menu; blocking does not replace reporting.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first. Five City’s reporting channels are not emergency services.
How we handle reports
- Review and escalation: authorized staff review the in-app moderation queue and safety email. Child-safety concerns are escalated to the designated contact below and prioritized. Our target is to review safety reports within 24 hours.
- Assessment: staff assess the reported content and available context. In-app reports submitted through our reporting service include a server-created text/content snapshot; private-message reports include the reported message and limited preceding conversation context for review.
- Protective action: we remove or disable access to violating content and restrict or ban accounts involved in CSAE. When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM, we promptly remove or disable access to it, including associated hosted media, and escalate it for the reporting process below.
- Records and privacy: we record the review and action taken, limit access to safety information to authorized personnel, and preserve relevant information when required by law. Retention and disclosures follow our Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations.
Child-safety laws and reporting to authorities
Five City complies with applicable child-safety laws and regulations. Our designated child-safety contact is responsible for reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline or the relevant regional authority, as required by applicable law. We cooperate with lawful requests from the competent authorities and preserve relevant records as legally required.
Users may also report suspected child sexual exploitation directly to NCMEC’s CyberTipline or their local law enforcement agency. Reporting to Five City does not replace contacting authorities when a child needs protection.
